Castle Hill is located 30 kilometers northwest of the Sydney central business district and 9.5 kilometers north of Parramatta. It is a suburb of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, and within the Hills District region between the local government areas of The Hills Shire and Hornsby Shire.

In 2004, a new library and community centre was built next to Castle Towers, with a unit residential complex on the higher floors.
