Proudly Serving Pymble

Pymble is a suburb on Sydney’s Upper North Shore in the Australian state of New South Wales. It is located 15 kilometers (9 miles) northwest of Sydney’s Central Business District in the Ku-ring-gai Council local government region. West Pymble is a separate suburb south of Pymble, close to the Lane Cove National Park.

Pymble is a predominantly residential area with tree-lined streets, many substantial homes and gardens, numerous parks, nature reserves, and active pockets of commercial activity. Prominent landmarks include Pymble Station and Pymble Hill (Pacific Highway). The station is the centre of transport, shopping, and social activities whilst Pymble Hill affords a view of the distant Chatswood skyline. Pymble also acts as a conservative area for its rich architectural history with a variety of Federation-style houses.

On the Pacific Highway, at the summit of Pymble Hill, is Ku-ring-gai Town Hall. It was once the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, which was completed in 1934 and is an example of the Spanish Mission architectural style of the interwar period. It is heritage-listed, together with the presbyterian church next door.

Pymble Park is situated behind the stores in Grandview Parade on the eastern side of the railway. Many huge trees, tennis courts, an enclosed playground, and other attractions can be found in this park.

Other untouched bush reserves provide a sense of the region’s natural beauty. The Sheldon Forest track, which is accessible via Warrigal Road, is one example.
