Castle Towers Shopping Centre, owned by the Queensland Investment Corporation, is a shopping centre in Castle Hill, New South Wales, Australia. 

In 1982, the Castle Towers was opened with Kmart, Coles, and Norman Ross as the major retailers. It was then expanded to include David Jones and Franklins in November 1991. The second Greater Union site was launched in September 1999, and 44 specialty retailers, including the Piazza restaurant precinct. Castle Towers’ new EVENT Cinemas were architecturally designed with five auditoriums and a bar featuring “Gold Class.” It is the first globally because it features the latest digital cinema technology, including new digital projectors and electronic reclining chairs.

The Hills Shire Council granted a development application to extend the centre by 60,000 square meters in February 2011. A $285 million extension will include a new 16-screen movie complex, an eat-street area, 3085 additional parking spots, and new retail businesses in the shopping centre. After the redevelopment, Castle Towers will become one of Australia’s largest retail complexes, with 170,000 square meters of active floorspace, trailing Victorian competitors Westfield Fountain Gate and Chadstone Shopping Centre.

In March 2015, Queensland Investment Corporation published a fresh proposal to develop the centre. A new addition to the outdoor parking off Pennant Street is being proposed, including a food court, specialty stores, restaurants, and the construction of five high-rise towers. The expansion’s first phase began on December 5, 2019. Following the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on retail, future plans have been placed on hold.
