Eastlakes is the suburb of Sydney situated in the New South Wales state of Australia. This suburb is located 8 kilometres in the southern part of Sydney CBD, surrounded by beautiful parks that are perfect for picnicking or enjoying some downtime.

There are also several golf courses around the suburb that are usually filled on the holidays or weekends. 

The Eastlakes area has a lot of immigrants from Turkey and Bangladesh, but the northern-most part is made up primarily of working-class homes. These three public housing estates in the area: Longworth court, Eastlakes apartment, and Rosebery apartments. The northern area in Grafton street is saturated with apartments, while the southern area contains houses at least one storey high. 

The suburb of Eastlakes is in the top 100 best cities to live in, with a concentration of public housing. It ranks just below Redfern and above Glebe on this list. There are three different high-density estates for low-income families as well as plenty of affordable homes owned by private citizens to be found here as well.
