The Rocks is one of the bustling cities in Sydney’s city centre. It is also a tourist precinct and historic area rich in culture and heritage. Spread over a peninsula on the southern shoreline of Sydney’s beautiful harbour, The Rocks has been fiercely fought for by all who lived here- from indigenous people to convicts to free settlers. 

The Rocks, on the western side of Sydney Cove and east of the Harbour Bridge, approaches is one suburb making up a circular boundary that extends north to Circular Quay and George Street.
